I never play solo, but Sticky fuel and Face Melter are both excellent for their respective roles. The First Rites of Men Were Mortuary, the First Altars Tombs. I fuckin love repellant, wrecking the bugs' pathfinding amuses me to no end If there is anywhere where it'd be good to have ground, it's getting slathered in cheese I already don't use repellant because I want to carry tons of plats and also do not care for setting up chokepoints whatsoever I'm in a pipeline mission where the third jack is so comically far from the rig that I might as well try for the achievement. I haven’t tried swapping out the repellent yet only because I have a hard enough time not getting bugs/teammates stepping through my beam and resetting the explosion timer, I’ll have to try it without sometime though. I changed the repellant additive to something else so enemies crawl over the platforms, though the explosion is big enough if they are close to it, they'd probably still get hit. I got this recently as well and find it really fun to set up. And even then it’s on the same tier as +3 penetration Like even if you’re just using it as a generic spray and pray gun you save like 0.5 seconds per volley. The base lok1 doesn’t shoot at dead targets to begin with, so the smrt mod just makes it harder to get 3 lock and full lock bonuses. it's still possible for it to miss a kill on enemies. doesn't save ammo because the gun by default already stops shooting at a killed target, andī). It's not strictly bad per se, but yeah, it should be noted that itĪ). It just so happens that the stuff it has anti-synergy with is also the strongest stuff for the gun(executioner, explosive chemical rounds, unstable lock and the electro-chemical rounds+electric generator combo). SMRT rounds is fine with some setups, detrimental with others. There are guns I've never even used that were in the game when I started! I can't believe I played so much and haven't even fully upgraded all the guns. Looking at my progress, it's evident how little I progressed as a player when I was only playing with my friend group. Pistol: Chain Hit, Oversized Magazine, Explosive Reload, Automatic Fire, Tranquilizer RoundsĮPC: I can't afford the last upgrade right now to see lol Which overclocks do you have for the driller?įlamethrower: Sticky Additive, Fuel Stream Diffuser, Face Melter, Sticky FuelĬryo: improved Thermal Efficiency, Ice Spear, Flow Rate Expansion, Ice Storm I don't really like it other than with executioner for precision shooting on high value targets. Most of the time I use it, it just feels like an automatic weapon with extra steps (though it does have longer range). I understand I might be wrong here because a lot of other people like this overclock but I've tried it a few times, didn't like it. You would miss out on an explosion if you had ECR, I suppose? Personally, I don't really like ECR, I find using the smartgun for splash damage to be rather awkward compared to all 3 engineer secondaries or chained electricity smg. the bug is dead anyway, you don't need to zap it. You really shouldn't use it.Ĭonsider - if you can't get an electricity hit because you can only place two locks and your two bullets connect. Just FYI this doesn't help at all with ammo efficiency and means the upgrade that applies electricity after a certain amount of locks is harder to trigger, as is the ECR overclock.

The synodic rotation of Earth and its orbit around the Sun are the basis of some solar calendars. The Sun was thought of by some cultures as a deity. The enormous effect of the Sun on Earth has been recognized since prehistoric times. After this, it will shed its outer layers and become a dense type of cooling star known as a white dwarf, and no longer produce energy by fusion, but still glow and give off heat from its previous fusion. It is calculated that the Sun will become sufficiently large to engulf the current orbits of Mercury and Venus, and render Earth uninhabitable – but not for about five billion years. When hydrogen fusion in its core has diminished to the point at which the Sun is no longer in hydrostatic equilibrium, its core will undergo a marked increase in density and temperature while its outer layers expand, eventually transforming the Sun into a red giant. This energy, which can take between 10,000 and 170,000 years to escape the core, is the source of the Sun's light and heat. It is thought that almost all stars form by this process.Įvery second, the Sun's core fuses about 600 million tons of hydrogen into helium, and in the process converts 4 million tons of matter into energy. The central mass became so hot and dense that it eventually initiated nuclear fusion in its core. Most of this matter gathered in the center, whereas the rest flattened into an orbiting disk that became the Solar System. It formed approximately 4.6 billion years ago from the gravitational collapse of matter within a region of a large molecular cloud. As such, it is informally, and not completely accurately, referred to as a yellow dwarf (its light is actually white). The Sun is a G-type main-sequence star (G2V). Roughly three-quarters of the Sun's mass consists of hydrogen (~73%) the rest is mostly helium (~25%), with much smaller quantities of heavier elements, including oxygen, carbon, neon, and iron. Its mass is about 330,000 times that of Earth, comprising about 99.86% of the total mass of the Solar System. The Sun's radius is about 695,000 kilometers (432,000 miles), or 109 times that of Earth. The Sun radiates this energy mainly as light, ultraviolet, and infrared radiation, and is the most important source of energy for life on Earth. It is a nearly perfect ball of hot plasma, heated to incandescence by nuclear fusion reactions in its core. The Sun is the star at the center of the Solar System. ≈ 370 km/s (relative to the cosmic microwave background) ≈ 20 km/s (relative to average velocity of other stars in stellar neighborhood) ≈ 251 km/s (orbit around the center of the Milky Way) Sun, Sol / ˈ s ɒ l/, Sól, Helios / ˈ h iː l i ə s/ True-color image taken in 2019 using a solar filter |
